About Us

Ganges Consulting is a privately owned Australian business led by Cheenu Srinivasan based in Sydney, Australia. Our clients include Westpac Banking Corporation, Dell Computers ANZ, Fonterra Brands NZ, WebMethods, Progress Software, TruTamil LLC (makers of ndxCards software) and others.

We work with our client organisations, large and small, in reviewing and crafting their business strategy and setting in place processes and systems to achieve on-going operational excellence. Our main area of operations is Australia and New Zealand as well as helping clients in the US, India and countries in the Asia-Pacific.

Cheenu is a Mechanical Engineer by training with Masters degrees in both Engineering and Business Administration. He has worked in a number of sectors- Information Technology, Engineering R&D, Manufacturing, Energy, Transport and Government, including Treasury.

With papers published on engineering and management topics, Cheenu has presented in engineering and business forums, both in Australia and internationally. He works with Dr Charles Hampden-Turner on his Australian tours and is an Associate of Polarity Management Associates of Dr Barry Johnson. Cheenu Srinivasan has successfully completed the Blue Ocean Strategy qualification process administered by the Blue Ocean Strategy- Initiative Centre. In addition, he is an Associate of Professors Joe Urbany and John Davis, the architechts of the Three Circles of Strategy.

More recently, Cheenu was one of a global team of co-contributors to a novel approach to business design. The book which is an outcome of what it preaches is titled Business Model Generation authored by Alex Osterwalder and fellow authors.

At Ganges Consulting, Soumya Srinivasan CPA brings both private and public sector experience in business analysis, process reviews and IT systems implementation. She brings an unique blend of skills having worked in manufacturing, FMCG and public sector organizations. Soumya has an MBA from the University of Adelaide.
